Sodium Laureth Sulfate - Cancer Causing substance in shampoos

I saw a friend posted this on facebook today. People has been talking about this many year back..but still a lot of us out there are still unaware of it, I post this here just for reminder.

"" SHAMPOO Cancer-causing substance in shampoos. Go home and check your shampoo. Change before it's too late... Check the ingredients listed on your shampoo bottle, and see they have a substance by the name of Sodium Laureth Sulfate, or simply SLS. This substance is found in most shampoos; manufacturers use it because it produces a lot of foam and it is cheap. BUT the fact is, SLS is used to scrub garage floors, and it is very strong!!! It is also proven that it can cause cancer in the long run, and this is no joke. Shampoos that contains SLS: Vx5, Palmxxxxx, Paul Mxxxxxxx, L'xxxxx, the new Hxxx Shampoo from Bxxx Sxxx etc. contain this substance.

The first ingredient listed (which means it is the single most prevalent ingredient) in Cxxxxxx's Herbal Exxxxxxxx is Sodium Laureth Sulfate.

Research has shown that in the 1980s, the chance of getting cancer is 1 out of 8000 and now, in the 1990s, the chances of getting cancer is 1 out of 3, which is very serious. Therefore, I hope that you will take this seriously and hopefully, we can stop "giving" ourselves cancer-causing agents.""

After reading this, I quickly checked on my shampoos, kid's shower gel and the Colgate toothpaste, shocking to say that they are all contain SLS, except for one shampoo, Rejoice - Friuity Anti-Dandruff shampoo, however, it contains Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, is it a similar substance as SLS?

Definitely I am not going to buy the same products that contain SLS that I am using now especially the kid's Cxxxxx Junior. Would you mind to share what are the products that you are using now which do not contain SLS? Please share..thanks!

Read on the ingredients for the above 3 products (from my bathroom), you will be able to see Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) on them, *sign*
