Sunsense Daily Face SPF50+ cream

This Sunsense daily face cream is given to me by my ex-colleague.  Her friend gave it to her and she doesn't use it.  I have not heard of this brand before that.  It is a product of Australia.

I started using it after finishing my usual day cream.

It is not greasy as I thought.  It has got a matte feel actually.  Good protection from the sun with its SPF50++ suitable for tropical countries.

Bird's Nest Skin Care K BeauCareline

Some of my daily used skin care products have finished and some also finishing soon. I told myself "Hey, why don't I try a new range of skin care this year?" I am going to try the bird's nest range of products since I can't afford to consume bird's nest on a daily basis, at least I can apply it on my skin everyday from my skincare routine. Bio-Life Glucosamine for Joint Pain

At the age of mid forties,I have started to feel joints pain here and there.   The pain on my knee, hip and the toe have been causing much discomfort especially when climbing up the stairs and standing up from a sitting / sleeping positions.  The "wear and tear" from the aging process has set in earlier than I thought. 

The inability to generate sufficient level of glucosamine has lead to osteoarthristis, a form of arthristis which many of us are suffering. The lost of cartilage between the joints cause unbearable pain upon motion on the affected joints.

Soursop Leaf Tea / Teh Durian Belanda

We hardly heard or never heard of people say their favourite fruit is Soursop.  I can understand for the fact that the taste of the soursop is always on the sour side, it is clear as it's named Sour-sop.

I personally will choose other type of fruits than soursop if it is not for its health properties.  The look and the shape of this fruit is not as appetizing too.  BUT, the health benefits of this fruit is enormous not just the fruit but the leaf too.

From attending a Musang King farming talk, my better half bought a packet of this soursop leaf tea.  Though both of these fruits have Durian in their names and spiky appearances, they are of totally different taste.  As we all know, Durians are sweet, creamy and full of fragrance unlike soupsop, it is sour and the smell just about right.

The smell of the tea bags are just like some kind of wood than leaves.

The health benefits of soursop tea are claimed to be able to :

Soursop tea is an additional choice of tea in our pantry besides the existing Sabah Tea, organic green tea,  Pansulin bitter melon complex powder drink and the bitter gourd drink.   

Imuregen for Health

My better half was introduced by his friend to try this product to improve his health.  Imuregen is not heard by many yet but a lot of testimonials are from the Philippines. It is said to be able to repair one's DNA. My better half is giving it a try on a dosage of 1 teaspoon each in the morning and at night.  His swollen and inflamed gum is getting better and hopefully other degeneration diseases will be healed too. If it is proven to be good, I will take it too! Who doesn't want to be healthy and live longer right ?

I am a royal consumer of Olay.  I started using Olay products since I was a teenager.  It was my eldest sister who started using Olay products, as sisters we shared a room, she was kind enough to share her skin care products and clothes with me.  Our skin were still very tender that time and a basic moisturiser was all we need.

The range of Olay products have been improved and increased over the years, and I still find them more affordable than many skin care products in the market.  One of the basic product I introduced to my teenage daughters now is the 3 in 1 Olay white radiance UV whitening lotion. As for me, I am using Olay products for matured skin, will update in a different post soon.

I would like to give my testimonial for a cleansing facial wipe which I really like.   I was introduced by a sales lady at Watson when I was looking for facial tissue wipe to get rid of my daily makeups.  The one I has been using is drying up though it has been in the box.

With her own testimonial after using Pure Beauty Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleansing Facial Wipes, she introduced it for me to try..I forgot how much was it but it's slightly more expensive than the brand that I am using.    I am convinced by her sincere recommendation, I bought I package to try.

The tissue wipe is thick yet soft and moist, I really like the feel of it after the first try.

After wiping off the makeups on my face and neck, I usually reuse it to wipe my bedroom furniture to get the dust off from them, making full use of it like wiping cloth too.

The Purederm brand was alright too but the tissues moisture dry out too fast and too soon.

Po Sum On Oil from Hong Kong 保心安油

Po Sum On Oil is my mum's favourite medicine to relieve bloated stomach, muscular and join pain. I still remember in an occasion that my little girl complained of stomach ache, she quickly took out a bottle of her used Po Sum On oil, poured some on her palm and rubbed on my little girl's lower abdomen and quickly covered her abdomen with blanket to let the Po Sum On oil worked to get rid of the "air". It worked, because my girl felt relieved after that. With that testimonial, I bought a bottle which lasted until now.

AnneMarie Borlind LL Regeneration Day Cream & Eye Wrinkle Cream

AnneMarie Borlind skin care products are from the Germany.  I have tried the LL Regeneration Day Cream and I love it.  It suite my middle age skin perfectly.

I have tried their Vital Fluid too, I have almost finished using it.

The Eye Wrinkle Cream is another AnneMarie Borlind LL Regeneration range I have tried..it gives me a very smooth feeling using it..eye cream is a must in my skin care regime..

Moringa Seeds and the comparison between the local produce and India's v...

Heard a lot about Moringa seed's health benefits. Through a friend I bought a packet of 100 Moringa seeds of local produce. Being first time taking it, the first taste is bitterly sweet, a bit unbearable. The bitterly sweet taste stays on the tongue for a long while even after drinking water. I was told that taking 3 seeds would be enough for normal healthy person. An inconsistent vitamin consumer, I unintentionally skipping days of taking it. 

Another friend of ours whom is selling India produced Moringa gave a packet (100 seeds I think) for my better half to try. Upon opening up the shell, we noticed that the seeds a very much bigger size than the local one, no wonder the price is also double. 

I have not tried eating the India's produce but my better half said taste wise, the local one is milder. The video above show the difference of size. The benefits of Moringa seeds can widely be found on the internet. My better half is taking it for the hope that his diabetes can be reduced and under control by taking Moringa seeds as claimed by many testimonials.

Have been using Olay products since I was a teenager.  During schooling time, I haven't got money to buy them but my loving sister share hers with me.

These are the new version of Olay products which are in the market right now.

I have finished a tub of this white radiance SPF24 months ago.

recently I bought the foaming cleanser to try.  I introduced it my teenage daughters too..

For aging skin, I try Olay Total Effects 7 in one upon recommendation by my SIL.  She commented on the pigmentation on my face and asked me why not try Olay since she finds it works for her.  I quickly bought one to try, hope it will lighten the pigmentations..I have just started using it this month, have not seen any result yet.

Black Pearl Permanent Hair Dye shampoo

For convenience, one could choose this Black Pearl Permanent Hair Dye Shampoo.  At least once in a month, I will have to do some "repair" work to cover up my grey hair.  It is annoying but I am grateful to have hair :D..Need not complain much because it is hereditary that I have grey hair from my grand mother.   

I have tried this Black Pearl Permanent Hair Dye shampoo before.  The dye does not last as permanent as it stated but I like it being convenient to use.

Papaya soap

With the recommendation from my SIL, I am trying out this Papaya Soap for my daily facial cleansing.  It is said to be able to lighten the sign of pigmentations on the face which is a good news to me.  My face has become sensitive and dry lately without obvious reason. Itch at times and feel like touching a piece of sand paper. 

This Papaya Soap is a product of the Philippines with very simple packaging.  I divided it into 4 smaller pieces for hygiene and economic reasons.  It cost more than RM20++ per piece.

This soap produces very rich lather, feeling clean after rinsing it off.  On the first used, I felt a pinchy feeling on my cheeks, it went away after I applied moisturizer on my face.  I am still trying this Papaya Soap, hopefully it will lighten the sign of aging on my face.

Rooibos Tea

We were introduced to Rooibos tea just last week.  I have seen Rooibos in cosway's catalogues many years ago. when my hub told me that he wanted to try this tea for health purpose, I quickly told him that he could buy it at Cosway.  I am not a Cosway's member but my colleague is, we bought a box of this new product Nn Green Rooibos tea.  20 sachets of 12g each in a box cost RM19+ for members.  

For its benefits, you could read about it here as well.  The taste of the Rooibos tea is just like the ordinary Chinese tea which is just nice.

Maybelline Lipstick

First time trying out Maybelline lipstick.  I like the moist feeling and shine looking appearance on my lips. It is very affordable with only RM19.00 after discount (forgot how much is the original price).

I chose the shade of Watershine Pure P24.  

That gives me a pinkish lips.  I began to like this lips colour because it appears to make me like younger and suitable for casual used.
